Environmental Studies

Summary

These resources were initially compiled for use for the Kansas Social Studies Conference 2016 session titled: Interdisciplinary STEM study using primary sources from the Dole Institute of Politics.

Sources relating to science topics are useful for a variety of studies relating to Congress, government, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Here, water availability, air quality, and precursory documents for climate change - relating to introduction of global warming in the 1990s, are presented. This is a selection of materials, there are more documents and topics (reservoirs, oil, and engineering projects) available for study in the Dole Archives.
