Fee Schedule

General

This fee schedule is for reproductions only.

We accept credit cards or checks payable to the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics.

Digital materials are delivered by email or through a filesharing system unless specified otherwise.

Physical media (CDs or DVDs) can be provided at $5.00 each.

Self-photography

Researchers may take their own digital images (without flash) at no charge.

Staff approval required prior to any filming.

Standard Copy Services

Allow two weeks for delivery. Rush service available for an additional charge.

Paper copies (letter or legal size) $0.25 per side, $1.00 minimum charge

If mailed: $5.00 handling fee + shipping cost + applicable sales tax for KS residents

PDF reference copies (text or images)

(4-24 scans) $0.25 per side ($1.00 minimum)

(25+ scans ) $0.25 per side + $10.00 service fee

Digital scans

publication/print quality

Scans will be produced consistent with the characteristics of the original materials. The lab will not make any adjustments or manipulate the image in any way. When ordering scans, please indicate the resolution, output size, scan file type (TIFF or JPEG), tonality (gray-scale or color). Default settings for high resolution scans are 600 ppi/ 24 bit/ TIFF.

Scan (original size up to 11" x 17”) $20 per image

Scan (original size over 11" x 17”) $40 per image

Digital prints

All prints are produced from digital images. Prints are only available in a glossy finish.

Allow two to four weeks for delivery. Rush service available for an additional charge.

Up to 11" x 17”: $20 per image

Greater than 11" x 17”: patron responsible for printing

(Photo order = scan + print cost + tax + shipping and handling)

Moving images

Moving images are transferred or duplicated in their entirety; no editing is provided.

Depending on format and other factors, a third party vendor may perform the actual duplication. The time frame for delivery may vary.

Actual charges may vary and will be determined by staff and invoiced to user.

For large orders, a 20% service fee may apply.

Sound recordings

Sound recordings are transferred or duplicated in their entirety; no editing is provided.
